Goldrush have decided to retire and would like to thank everyone who has enjoyed and supported us over the past 13 years.

Ken says:

They say all good things must come to an end and as the gear is getting heavy to drag around it is with some sadness and relief after 54 years of playing the clubs and all the charity gigs and running around the roads at all times of the night, it is time take it a bit easier, but I will say that I have enjoyed every minute of it.

Great memories of playing with The Breakers, that started it all, then Whisky, 25 years with Gold and finally Goldrush 13 years.

I would like to say thanks to all my friends in all the groups I have played in and all the friends from all the clubs over the years, thanks for your support.

It's time to sit back, keep playing the guitar and have some fun having a few jam sessions and enjoy.
Keep music live, love it.

John says:

Well Ken has said it all, over fifty years since we started with the Breakers and with Gold and ending with GOLDRUSH, great times and memories along the way, enjoying the friendship with band members and friends that we have made along the way.

Hopefully we can still make some noise, just to keep moving.

Thanks for all the support,
Love and best wishes. x
